For those of you that don’t know: we now have product packages! Not just any packages but packages specifically formulated to target certain common ailments. We have three packages as of right now the Sleep Support Pack, the Anxiety Support Pack and the Cranial Relief Pack. These packages contain three to four natural medicine items specifically created to reduce pain and stress. We’re so excited to bring them to you and I’m so excited to try them out!
Because I suffer from a complete inability to just relax I decided to try out our Anxiety Support Pack and give you my genuine experience using our products. After all, we would never sell products we ourselves wouldn’t be comfortable using and love! Our Anxiety Support pack’s symbol is the adorable luna moth sticker because this particular moth represents renewal, reflection and a sense of inner calm. I also love the metal box our products come in, it stood up to crashing in my back seat while making a pretty sharp turn and all the contents stayed put! Pretty impressive considering some of the box contents are kind of delicate and could have easily broken. But enough about the packaging, you really care about the contents!
Now, I’m really not a lotion girl. I prefer baths and sprays but I honestly love this Dream Balm. The tin looks really small but this stuff is really thick (it has a beeswax base) so it looks like it’ll last for ages! It has a blend of incredibly dreamy herbs; lavender, chamomile, passionflower, mugwort and essential oils. The smell is great and not overpowering despite the amount of individual herbs, and lasted for ages. I put it on after my shower and it literally melted into my skin. It was so thick and silky but wasn’t at all greasy like I expected it to be. It was perfect in every way and the scent even lingered once I got up in the morning. One potential problem is you wouldn’t be able to leave this balm in your car, as it would melt in the hot sun. but that isn’t really a problem for me. This stuff belongs in a nightstand after all!
Sweet Dreams Tea
This tea promises to help you “simply relax” and to that I say, “Yes, please!” I have a minor tea obsession. Okay, a major tea obsession. I might not look it, but I love nothing more than to cuddle up in bed with a big, steaming mug to help lull me off to sleep. So I figured this would just be a Sleepytime variant, that it would taste generically herbal, and that would be that. I was wrong. This tea has such great depth of flavor and smells fantastic! I was initially a little skeptical of the recommended sleep time. Even Sleepytime takes more than 15 minutes to work, but I also didn’t want to fall asleep on the couch. This tea had bright, citrusy notes from the lemongrass and lemon balm, and a subtle earthy-sweetness from the chamomile and lavender. Mixed with my local Florida honey from the farmer’s market it was absolutely divine! A fantastic cup of tea. And I really did feel it and it made me feel so relaxed in 15 minutes!
(Pro-Tip: Loose leaf tea might be difficult for some people to get used to, especially if you don’t have a tea infuser handy. Before getting a tea infuser (thanks Books a Million!) I would use a coffee filter to tie up my tea for steeping -- but if you don’t like this method, try brewing the tea in one cup and pouring the liquid into another, leaving the leaves in the first cup.)
Sleepy Pillow Sachet
Who doesn’t love lavender? If you’ve read my other article “Lavender: Sleep Master or Good-Smelling Lie?” you’ll know I have a special affinity for this pretty purple flower. In that article I talked about a lavender farm in Georgia that my boyfriend and I (and his parents!) really loved. They sold lavender sachets just like the ones found in this kit. In fact ,it’s the first thing you can smell when you open our Anxiety Relief Kit, a blast of freshly dried lavender buds! However, instead of putting this sachet in my pillow, I emptied them into about a quarter of a container of Dr. Teal’s Soothe and Sleep Pure Epsom Salt, and can I just say it’s a true luxury? Anyone who can take a bath surrounded by floating lavender buds and not relax might need more help than our Kit can provide.
I have very little prior experience with tinctures, even though I know that they are herbal extracts made with alcohol. I've never tried them before, so I was a little worried about a few things. What would it taste like? Would it work? Would I feel funny after taking it? This little bottle packs quite a punch in more ways than one! You use a tincture by placing a few drops under your tongue for fast absorption and leaving it there for a few moments and swallowing. I will warn you, this tincture does burn initially (this is because tinctures use alcohol to draw out the natural properties of the herbs) but it was a little startling! After a few moments, under my tongue numbed up and that was the only unpleasant part of this whole experience. But I know this is common for most tinctures and it’s something I could easily get used to. I felt the effects pretty immediately, I was instantly calmer and it made me feel ready for bed. Even though this tincture isn’t necessarily supposed to make you sleepy, and it didn’t make me need to go immediately to sleep, I did feel very comfortable-- drowsy, but still able to do things while laying in bed. I loved this tincture and I look forward to using it more in the future.
I love these products! We sell these kits for $23.00 in-store and feel these products would last for at least a month when used as directed -- except for the tea. If you use a small spoonful from the bag you should get at least 3 cups of delicious tea! Visit our store and buy one today!

(I want to disclose that, even though we do sell these products in store, I bought mine for full price. This is my honest review so everyone who buys this kit has an accurate idea of how the products in our Anxiety Support Kit work and my genuine experience using them!)
